Ophir Falk, the foreign policy adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has framed the upcoming Israeli election as a choice on who can effectively partner with the United States to remove Iran's government.

In written remarks sent to The Jerusalem Post, Falk stated that ousting the current leadership in Tehran serves the interests of America, Israel, and the wider world. He identified the pairing of President Donald Trump and Netanyahu as the team best suited to accomplish this task. Falk described the Ayatollah regime in Iran as genocidal and argued that its removal is a priority for both nations.

The adviser positioned the October 27 vote as a decision on who should lead Israel during the final two years of the Trump administration. He asked voters to consider which candidate would best coordinate with the U.S. president to conclude military operations in Iran and extend regional peace agreements. This framing contrasts the proposed alliance with the preferences of Israel's adversaries, including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iran, which Falk said hope for Netanyahu's defeat.

President Trump reinforced this narrative on Sunday evening by renewing his endorsement of the prime minister. Writing on Truth Social, Trump urged Israelis to support Netanyahu, stating that the two leaders had started a job in Iran that needed to be finished. This public display of support came just before the election day.

Falk has previously discussed the potential for political shifts in Tehran. In an interview with The Jerusalem Post on October 15, he noted that Israel was very close to creating the conditions necessary for a change in government. However, he emphasized that the final decision on leadership rests with the Iranian people rather than external forces. He maintained that the strategic balance has shifted in favor of the U.S.-Israeli alliance, which he described as stronger than ever, while Iran and its proxies have grown weaker.

The new written comments did not specify the tactical steps the United States and Israel would take to remove Iran's leadership. Falk provided no specific timeline for when these changes might occur. His remarks served to align the domestic political debate with the ongoing geopolitical strategy between the two allies.
